SP4449 and SPS700 in the Roundhouse |
Last Updated: 5 February, 2001 |
I printed a few if these images to 8x10 to verify the ground glass
re-alignment went according to plan. Some of the following
were scanned from the 8x10 prints, others from the contact sheets.
I compared several 8x10 prints against 8x10 contact prints
I've made over the years and am happy to see that there is
no visible difference between an enlarged 4x5 print and a
contact image. TMax100 and sharp lenses are wonderous things.

The entrance to the Roundhouse. It just started raining heavily again. Just enough time to hit the shutter and duck into the van.

Wandering around to the back of the shed was a real experience. This was resting nicely back in the corner. This is Doyle's 'other train'. It hauled the Canadian boiler north when the project was completed just a couple weeks ago.

Rob Sinclair pointed this out to me: The engine is OR&N 197. It's been sandblasted and appears ready for painting someday soon. It currently sits n the area just in front of Doyle's Great Northern.
