Dear Denver:

I was sad to hear of the loss of Ed Fites. I don't know when I ever met a person more interested in fellow members, or more generous with his astonishing library. That special quality of personal and intellectual warmth is something essential to the development of real comraderie and appreciation of each other within organizations such as Intertel and Mensa. I hope some of that rubbed off on each of us, and that we carry it on to others who did not know him. Bon voyage, Ed, and we will miss you!
