Dear Editor,
The argument between "pro-choice" and "pro-life" is loud and strong and far from ended. I'm against abortion but I am not sure the solution is strictly political.
I would like to point out that those who advocate women's rights must also, not to be hypocrites, support the right of women to give birth.
In China with its "one child policy" women are forced to have abortions or given huge financial penalties for having a second child.
I seldom hear the feminists - who I partly sympathize with - or Amnesty International (and I'm a member) make a fuss about this hideous denial of a woman's sacred right to be a mother.
