AGA At Sea

Imagine how nice it is to have breakfast, lunch and dinner without getting a bill! Think of the thrill of ordering lobster without first checking your wallet. And every place you dine has an ocean view. And - truly incredible - even the 24-hour stateroom service is complimentary. That would be unheard of in any hotel.

On board the Ecstasy you'll see spectacular stage shows, in a gorgeous showroom where there's not a bad seat in the house. The same is true of music and comedy acts in the late-night lounge. No cover charge, no minimum.

The Spa aboard the Carnival Ecstasy offers pampering with the newest health and beauty therapies, and guests who book Spa appointments receive wonderful treatment. (Spa services are extra, and are billed to your shipboard account.) Travel Tip: Those who are interested in a facial or massage, or any of the other Spa amenities offered, should go immediately upon boarding to the beauty salon on the sports deck and arrange appointments, as they fill up rapidly.

CARNIVAL ECSTACY

How often do you get to be ecstatic? That's even better than thrilled!

It happens when you come aboard Carnival Ecstasy from Galveston, Texas on September 20, 2008. The excitement begins the minute you enter this luxury cruise ship through her spectacular atrium with a gigantic lobby bar. It continues throughout the 5 day vacation, along with the Annual General Assembly on board. You'll meet fellow Ilians from all over, and many will become lifelong friends.

DESTINATIONS

COZUMEL, an island of pristine beaches, lively cantinas and bargain-filled shops, is a not-to-be-missed adventure. You will love the restaurant, Pancho's Backyard, either the site on the beach overlooking the water, or the original Pancho's at the end of the street. Nearby is the Mayan Museum, and there is a Mayan thatched hut where one gets to meet a native who tells of his Mayan culture, the family who lives in such a hut, sleeping in hammocks strung from the ceiling and preparing meals with primitive utensils made from shells, carved stone and wood. There he shows you how they weave, make rope, and other skills handed down for centuries. On Cozumel one finds beginner's scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, a catamaran sail, snorkel and beach party, or a Jeep adventure featuring amazing snorkeling, ruins and lighthouse view.

PROGRESO, Yucatan, offers is own special beauty, attractions and Mexican flavor. Visit the Chichen Itza Mayan ruins, colonial Izamal, or other shore excursions which can be booked in advance on board. There's a bike trek, caves and caverns snorkeling, or shopping in Merida with a Mexican buffet thrown in.
