Dear Editor,
The cry of the French Revolution for liberty, equality, and fraternity was a good one - but in practice it turned into a gruesome bloodbath. I don't think the Bolshevik Revolution was much different. It means we must pursue our ends by nonviolent means and meekness, not discouraging religion since "liberty, equality and fraternity" are in fact religious values.
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need", is a paraphrase of St. Paul. With this in mind I ask my friend Steve Mason to reconsider his skepticism about religion. Religion may yet save the human race from destroying itself. Be skeptical instead of psychedelics, science fiction, astrology, and metaphysics!
