Dear Kort,
I like the motto printed on the masthead of "Port Of Call", "Let truth ...". Impolitely stated, Christians are not concerned w/truth; they are only concerned w/faith, devotion, and belief. So, I would like to ask a question: what do some Christians mean when they conclude, "Jesus died for our sins"? If any Ilian/Christian cares to submit their explanation to this forum, I have but one simple caveat: I would appreciate all explanations devoid of preternatural qualities attributed to Jesus by the Roman Church in order to sell him, for example homoousianism. Given this caveat, is the question answerable?
Thanks
Stephen Noble
(Editors note: the motto in Port of Call's masthead was suggested by Bob Crawford.)
