The Fair is a wonderful event. It's filled with activities, music, food, and fun folk of every stripe and tribe.
Every summer, the Oregon Country Fair takes place in Veneta, Oregon. I haven't been there in several years. To make this year a little special, I felted a series of witches hats. The idea was to wait for people to commented on a hat that I was wearing. Then I asked if I could have their photograph in one. They could select a color and style of hat from a felted bag I carried I would then snap their photo. It turned out that this was a great way of engaging people. Of course, I needed to take a few photos of other things too.
I used a Mamiya 7 6x7 camera, a 50mm L lens, and a Vivitar 283 flash.
The film was Kodak NC160 print material.
